A former dancer at Walt Disney World and choreographer for theater productions, Lala is thrilled to share her passion for dance and music with her Roosevelt class. In her day job, she develops training strategies and designs educational materials for technology initiatives, so the Rock Soul & Rhythm class lets her harness her experience with adult learners. “I want this to be a safe place for participants to feel the joy of movement and connecting with the music—to be fierce or graceful or dramatic or silly,” says Lala. “And I love that I get to experience all of those things along with the class.”
