Join us at Lyndale Farmstead Park to learn about the park’s history and how it fits into the Minneapolis “System of Parks,” founded in 1883. This talk will use maps and historic images from the archives to tell the story of Lyndale Farmstead Park’s important role as the center of parks maintenance, horticulture and administration, and as the former home of Theodore Wirth, a pivotal actor in the development of Minneapolis parks during the early 20th century.
This class is priced on a sliding fee scale. Please pay the price you are able. This helps to ensure that Community Education can provide quality opportunities for all of our participants.
