This course will be able to help you express yourself in common circumstances you may find as you explore Japan as a foreigner. Common expressions will be taught so that students can apply this easily and immediately. We will role play frequently as participation is key to internalizing the lessons. Having the confidence to participate in brief conversational Japanese with natives will be the primary goal, and focused lessons on the grammar behind the phrases taught will help frame what is being said. This in turn will create a basis of understanding upon which each student is empowered to take their language learning to the next level. While also learning common cultural practices and nuances that you may want to pick up along the way.
