After High School: What's Next? (Pratt)
Parents and their high school student will receive an overview of the possibilities after high school graduation including post-secondary options, applying for college or other schools, and seeking financial aid. Class will include the basics of finding financial aid from filing a FAFSA to applying for scholarships. High School students may attend for free with registered parent.
Caitlin Siefkes is an Upward Bound Advisor with Dakota County Technical College. She holds a B.A from the University of Minnesota-Morris in anthropology and French, and a Masters of Education from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Youth Development Leadership. Since post-secondary education comes in so many forms and there isn't one right answer for everyone, Caitlin feels it is important to learn accurate information so each student or family can make the best decision for them personally.
