Knit a Dish Cloth (Southwest)
Learn the basics to knit a simple, colorful dish cloth to keep for yourself or give away as a gift. You will learn to cast on, knit stitch, cast off and basic crochet for the border. Bring US 9 straight knitting needles, a J crochet hook and one skein of Lily Sugar 'N Cream cotton yarn. -
Knit a Pet Sweater (Southwest)
Learn how to cast on, measure for a pattern, read patterns and charts, cast off, seam piece together, pick up stitches, work in the round and finish the work. Leave with a homemade sweater for your furry friend. Bring needles - size 10-1/2 straight or 16" circular - and a set of 10-1/2 double point needles, along with approximately 400 yards of worsted weight yarn. Make sure all skeins are wound and ready to work. -

Modern Weaving: Wall Hanging (Northeast)
Learn the basics of frame loom weaving; start and finish your own woven wall hanging. A kit with a loom, yarn and tools will be provided so that you can follow along with the instructor during the class and then continue your new craft after the class. You will explore different fibers and techniques for weaving to help you accomplish your creative vision. The material fee covers the cost of the kit. The kit can either be shipped to your address or you may pick it from the instructor's front porch of her home in Minneapolis. This class is now being held online and is interactive through a videoconferencing platform. You can choose to enable your camera and audio, or just view the live content.
