  • 3D Design Studio: World's Tallest Buildings

    Join us as we learn and use computer aided design (CAD) software to create scale models of the World's Tallest Buildings! We will also study some of the history and architecture around these buildings and fire up the 3D printers to bring some of our models to life!
  • 8th Grade Play - Alice in Wonderland (Justice Page ALC)

    Join your friends and Theater teacher Ms. T to tell the story of Alice in Wonderland! This play is for 8th grade students only. Tech Crew is by invite from Ms. T. and Heath. Auditions for roles will be on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. This class will meet on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and every other Monday, March 20 - May 16. Performances will be May 16 and May 17.   • Art with Ann (Justice Page)

    Be inspired, get creative, and make cool art! Ms. Ann is an accomplished artist who will lead you through new art techniques and crafts each week. This session you explore various print making techniques. You'll exchange creative ideas, create works of art, and meet new friends with similar interests. This class will be a hands on. This is a great place to explore your personal interests in art and get some hands on experience with various techniques. This is a 6 week class. In order to ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education is now offering fees on a sliding scale. We're moving to a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. When families participate as they are able, in all levels of our sliding scale, the whole program becomes self-sustaining.

    Basketball Workout with Coach Brendan (Justice Page)

    Basketball workout with Coach Brendan. This class is for athletes who want to take their game to the next level. Develop your footwork, dribbling, shooting, and defense with individual and group basketball drills to push your game to the next level. This class meets for 6 weeks. Monday and Wednesday. No class on Wednesday April 10 (no school). In order to ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education is now offering fees on a sliding scale. We're moving to a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options and options that help us cover our administrative costs. Fees cover instructor pay, class supplies, program materials, marketing and scholarships. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay or select the no-cost option. We have always offered partial and full scholarships upon request. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making these requests. When families participate as they are able, in all levels of our sliding scale, the whole program becomes self-sustaining.

    Beginners through advanced players are welcome to play.. Learn new skills and practice what you know. If you choose you can participate in 3 Saturday tournaments, Tentative dates are Saturday, November 11th, 2023, February 10th, 2024, and April 13th, 2024.

    D & D Master the Dungeon Experienced players (Justice Page)

    Get ready to go on an adventure through mystical worlds fighting monsters and finding treasures. Students create and roleplay a character or be the dungeon master (DM) as they travel through a new adventure each week. This class is for experienced players. Check out Wednesday's Class is you are newish.

  • Dungeons and Dragons with Badwolf All Levels (Justice Page)

    Dungeons and Dragons with Badwolf Adventure Studios. Two Dungeon masters will work with beginner through advanced players. Students will do everything from character creation, basic rules, and then taking your character into an adventure. Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to pay the class fee or choose the price that they are able to pay. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making scholarship requests. When families participate at the higher price levels, they help make the program more sustainable.
  • GEMS-GISE-Stem Academy ALC (Justice Page)

    Spring 2024 – Aerospace Engineering & Rocketry Explore Science and Engineering! In these engaging and investigative classes students are immersed in the fundamentals of aerospace engineering and rocketry through an interactive problem-based approach. Working in pairs, students solve a series of complex problems designing, constructing and testing a variety of aircrafts. Gliders, Drones and rockets will be used in this class. Come have fun! GEMS-GISE-STEM students conduct hands-on investigations exploring aerospace engineering and related career fields. Students explore this specialized field that includes the design of spacecraft and aircraft. Discovering that air (navigating within the earth's atmosphere) and spacecraft (operating primarily in outer space, beyond the earth's atmosphere) are technologies that extend human potential to transport people and goods. Students work and learn through exciting, project-based aerospace engineering activities designing, construction, testing, and troubleshooting as they work toward their final flight.

    Justice Green Team (Justice Page)

    Do you want an opportunity to make the world a better place? Do you want to get your hands dirty (and get out of class from time to time to do it)? Are you interested in hearing from people in our community that make positive environmental and social changes? Like pizza and snacks? If you said yes to any of these questions, consider joining our school club! The Green Team at Justice Page is a group of students who are working together to make our world a better place. We collaborate to find and implement solutions that are environmentally friendly through advocacy, education, and action. We will get our hands dirty and take field trips exploring and learning along the way. The Green Team is a fun way to learn more about environmental issues, and sustainability, and work with other students who share a passion for making our school and community a great place to live! Students will have a voice and choice in what we focus on. This class will be FUN and make an IMPACT! Pizza and snacks are a bonus to this class.

    Justice Pages - School Newspaper (Justice Page)

    Join the student newspaper. Work on your own or with a team to write for the weekly student paper. Write about current events, conduct student interviews, research, and write about topics of interest, poems, comics, recipes, or create a column. Each week you will work on your stories, and submit stories for our Rhino Report student newspaper. All are welcome, writers, poets, photographers, artists/cartoonists.     Hangout afterschool with Ms. Emily Silva and your peers. Build friendships and connection through various activities that youth choose. Spend time working on making piñatas and planning and hosting a children's day celebration . Spanish and English will be spoken in this class. Pasa un rato después de la escuela con la Sra. Emily Silva y tus compañeros. Construya amistades y conexiones a través de diversas actividades como hacer piñatas y planificar y organizar una celebración del día del niño.
