Washburn Clubs & Activities with Community Education

• Funding: In past years, most Washburn clubs and activities were funded through a state 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant. Washburn does not have the grant this year, so moving forward clubs and activities will be low-cost fee-based through Community Education.
• Program Fees: Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to support WHS by choosing what they are able to pay.
• Registration will be run in three sessions this year - Fall, Winter, and Spring. There is one registration form for "Washburn Clubs & Activities" this allows students to participate in as many clubs/activities as they would like for one fee per session. There is a question in the registration to indicate what clubs/classes your student will be participating in.
