In the event of inclement or severe weather, the district will decide whether to cancel, in which case a full refund will be given for the time missed.

  • b. Weather & Emergency Class Cancellation

Our priority is the safety of our participants and staff. Most classes will continue as scheduled during weather events (such as heat, wind, or rain) unless otherwise notified.

    • Severe Weather: When Minneapolis Public Schools District closes due to severe snow or extreme cold, our classes are typically cancelled or follow the district’s decision for morning/afterschool sessions. For evening, sessions continue unless otherwise notified. For events like severe thunderstorms or tornado watches, staff are trained to monitor conditions and identify emergency shelters to ensure participant safety. All classes continue as scheduled unless otherwise notified.

If a class is cancelled, we will notify you directly. Otherwise, please assume classes are proceeding as scheduled.
