Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Teen Parent Services is dedicated to keeping teen parents on the track to graduation by providing them with parenting education and supports while providing high-quality early childhood education services to their children.

Give the gift of learning. Gift vouchers can be purchased in a variety of denominations and can be used for most Community Education Youth & Adult Enrichment classes. Some restrictions apply.
To cancel a class, you must call the site hosting your class. If it is at least three business days before the class begins, you will get a refund minus a processing fee ($5 for adult enrichment classes and $15 for summer youth programs). Note that summer youth classes that are longer than 3 weeks have higher transaction fees and different deadlines for cancellations. Find the site contact information here for details.

WEEKLY CLASSES
Participation is on a first-come, first serve basis and many classes fill quickly. Contact the Site Coordinator to transfer from one class to another. Refunds, minus a $25 transaction fee, will be issued when requested before 4 pm the Wednesday prior to the class start date. Note that classes that are multi-week have higher transaction fees and different deadlines for cancellations.
MULTI-WEEK CLASSES
Full refunds for multi-week classes, minus a $50 transaction fee, will be issued when requested on or before 4 pm on Friday, March 27. Refund requests made between March 27 and before 4 pm on May 8 will be charged 50% of the class fee. There will be no refunds granted within 2 weeks of the program's start date. Full refunds will be issued if a class is canceled due to low enrollment. In the event of inclement or severe weather, the district will decide whether to cancel, in which case a full refund will be given for the time missed.

There are a few ways you can search or browse for a class.
All of our Community Education classes are open to anyone -- no matter where they reside. All class fees are the same regardless of residence.
Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) courses are the only courses that have a 10% surcharge added for non-Minneapolis residents.
Minneapolis Kids: Children in grades K-5 do not need to attend Minneapolis Public Schools to be eligible for non-school-day care. High Five/pre-kindergarten students must be enrolled in Minneapolis Public Schools (or Minneapolis Kids Jr) to be eligible for non-school-day care.
Discounts are not given on material fees and are not applicable to classes priced on a sliding fee; Aquatics; Access, UGotClass and ed2go classes; or on Trips, Tours & Recreation.
We welcome your desire to share your knowledge and passion. As an Adult Enrichment class instructor, you play an important role in inspiring and enhancing the lives of the participants.
Class offerings are determined three times a year: Fall, Winter and Spring/Summer.
Please note: Community Education fees are kept as reasonable as possible to make the program accessible. We utilize instructor pay guidelines and have a set fee structure as part of this effort.

We offer digital gift certificates ranging from $25 to $300. They are delivered by email and can be redeemed by phone. You can purchase one by registering for this class.
