This is a non-separating class (child and parent together for entire class). Join us for a space to engage with your young Black/Brown child with child friendly activities to do together; while connecting with other caregivers about parenting and how it's different when raising Black and Brown children. Our class is taught by a Brown Latinx teacher. Class meets weekly and you may join at any time. ECFE classes are priced on a sliding fee schedule based on family income. Please choose the fee that best fits your family budget. A 10% surcharge will be applied to fees for Non-Minneapolis residents.

This is a non-separating class (child and parent together for entire class). Come build friendships, do activities, and sing songs with families across cultures and languages. Activities, books, and songs will reflect the families, and the languages of the teachers in the classroom (English, Hmong, Somali, and Spanish). This is a separating class (parents and children spend time together and apart.) This class, in partnership with Early Childhood Special Education, will explore social communication skills, strategies, and more. Families will learn more about the autism community, resources and supports in the metro area. This is a class for families with children who have been diagnosed with autism or who are in the process of receiving a diagnosis and who would like to learn meaningful ways to encourage their child’s social and communication development. Siblings are welcome. A limited number of Infants 0-4 months are welcome to stay with parents during discussion time. Please enroll your young infant only in the Sibling Care option. This is separating class (child and parent spend time together and apart). We welcome families whose children have an IFSP or IEP and their siblings to join us in playing and learning together. Parents will discuss various topics as decided by the group. A limited number of Infants 0-4 months are welcome to stay with parents during discussion time.
