Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age care for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 6th grade during the school year (entering K-7 during the summer).

Where does our drinking water come from and how do we know it is safe to drink? Learn about the history of water treatment and new developments followed by a tour of the Pump Station and Softening Plant. Transportation is on your own.
Minneapolis - Public Works Water Treatment & Distribution Services (also called Fridley Water Treatment Plant) is located at 4300 Marshall Ave NE.
NOTE: You must bring ID and enter through a security check to enter this facility. This tour is not wheelchair accessible. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
