Hobbies: Photography for the Pro (Entering Grades 6-9)

Summer Youth CE Programs / Southwest Super Summer -
Summer Youth Programs 2024

Dive into the world of professional photography in a hands-on course designed for aspiring young photographers! Led by renowned artist Elisha Marin, this class is ideal for students looking to elevate their photography skills to a professional level. Throughout this course, students will engage in a variety of practical activities, honing their skills in areas crucial to professional photography. Students must provide their own camera each day.

To ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education is now offering fees on a sliding scale. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as a discounted option and options that help us cover our administrative costs. Fees cover instructor pay, most class supplies, program materials, marketing and scholarships. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. As always, we will continue to offer additional financial assistance upon request. When families participate as they are able, in all levels of our sliding scale, the whole program becomes self-sustaining. Thank you for your consideration as you sign up for summer programs!
