Bike Explorers: Connecting the Cities (Gr. 6-9)

Summer Youth CE Programs / Justice Page Super Summer -
Summer Youth Programs 2024

Biking gets you out exploring the urban environment on bike while gaining a better understanding of our wonderful resources of your city. Beyond seeing the sights, you will learn more about bike maintenance and safety. Come with an adventurous spirit as you get around town under your own pedal power!

Get to know some sites in South Minneapolis as you go to Fort Snelling and Minnehaha Falls. See how the Cities formed alongside and often in competition with each other as you get to know the transit and trail connections between Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Register your child for a morning class and an afternoon class and choose the option “Stay for lunch and recess from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.” This extra hour is free of charge with families providing their own lunch from home.

To ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education offers fees on a sliding scale. The class fee is the average cost of offering a class. Families are asked to pick the class fee or the price that they are able to pay. When families participate as they are able, at all levels of our sliding scale, the whole program becomes self-sustaining. Thank you for your consideration as you sign up for summer programs!
