On June 27, 1977 Elisabeth Congdon and her nurse were killed in the Congdon home, Glensheen Mansion in Duluth Minnesota. Elisabeth was the wealthy daughter of Chester Congdon who had inherited many millions of dollars. Elisabeth's daughter Majorie who was an out of control spendthrift and her husband Roger were charged with the double homicide of Elisabeth and the nurse. We will discuss the both trials and one of the most bizzare results in a murder case in Minnesota history.
