Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age care for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 6th grade during the school year (entering K-7 during the summer).

What is a Milagrito? Milagros, meaning miracles in Spanish, are small religious folk charms found throughout Mexico and Peru. The Heart Milagro (also known as the Sacred Heart) represents love, healing and gratitude.
Your main element in this piece will be a clay heart. You will be using words and colors to make it a unique piece that represents you; or you can turn it into a display element that helps you to remind yourself of the magic of life in your daily life.
"Creativity connects us to ourselves. It opens our hearts and doors to our mind. It brings us to hidden parts of ourselves. It allows recognition of uniqueness and identity". The technique we will use will be acrylic.
NOTE: Class can be messy so bring a T-shirt or covering that you don't mind getting dirty. This class will be taught in Spanish and English.
