Black Built: The Work of African American Architects (Henry)

Adult Enrichment / Academic -
Adult Enrichment Spring 2024

This class has been cancelled. We hope to offer it again in the future.

When we think of architecture in America, we rarely think that the buildings or houses we are looking at may have been designed by an architect of African American descent.  These artists have been designing for over 150 years. Minnesota had the nation’s first municipal architect in 1915. Come and learn about the life and the work of these long overlooked contributors to our physical surroundings of our culture.
