Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age care for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 6th grade during the school year (entering K-7 during the summer).

Uncover the basics of photo manipulation in the Elements 2024 program to give marginal photos the “Hollywood touch.” Learn to crop, add or remove objects and convert photos from color to black and white. Make your own cards as a final project. Bring your own laptop or notepad.
Prerequisite: Student must bring their own device and be able to install free trial of Elements 2024.
Gil Dignen has over fifty years of experience in the photography field. He has worked as both a studio and commercial photographer, including eighteen years as a travel photographer while working at Northwest Airlines. Gil has taught photography classes at various colleges in the Metro area and has a studio in Northeast Minneapolis where he does portraiture and commercial photography. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with others through Community Education.
