Come canoeing at Fort Snelling State Park with DNR Naturalist Kao Thao. Equipment provided. Place: Fort Snelling State Park, Swimming beach (where the canoes are) Drive to (meeting location): Swimming Beach - once past the Park’s Front office (Contact Station). Address: 101 Snelling Lake Road, St. Paul MN 55111. **The entrance to Fort Snelling State Park is on highway 5 and Post Road (Adjacent to the MSP International Airport). DO NOT go to the Historic Fort Snelling (Bloomington Road). Keep in mind that it will take at least 10-15 minutes to drive from the park’s entrance building (Contact Station) to the Visitor Center. NOTE: State Park pass not included. Daily pass is $7 per vehicle. If tour is full, please enroll for the waitlist. We will contact you if a space becomes available.
