Maud Hart Lovelace Walking Tour in Lowry Hill East (Southwest)

Adult Enrichment / Trips, Tours & Special Events -
Adult Enrichment Summer 2025

Walk on the Wild Side With Maud in the footsteps of beloved Minnesota children's author Maud Hart Lovelace with local historian, Kathy Kullberg. From 1911 to the late 1920's Lovelace enjoyed living in Minneapolis' Lowry Hill East neighborhood with her family and friends close by. These relationships and places became the basis for many of the characters and references in Betsy's Wedding, the last book in the Betsy-Tacy series. Beginning at Mueller Park, the walk will encompass about three blocks and feature the sites and stories related to the Hart and Lovelace families.

Group meets by the park pavilion at Mueller Park located at 25th and Bryant Ave S. (2509 Colfax Ave South, Minneapolis, MN 55405)

If tour is sold out, please add your name to the waitlist. We will contact you if a tickets become available.
