Known for her dazzling compositions that fuse Brazilian cultural motifs with European modernism, Milhazes creates large-scale works using a unique transfer technique—painting on plastic sheets and collaging the dried shapes onto canvas. Her art blends geometric forms, floral designs, and rhythmic visual cadences, drawing from Carnival, folk art, and decorative traditions.
