"Knitting is useful for making gifts, clothing and easing stress. Learn the basics of knitting and try your hand at making basic potholders and wristwarmers in our beginner's class. A pair of size 8 knitting needles and worsted weight yarn of your choice is recommended, but extra supplies are available."
Michelle Cohen is a mixed-media fiber artist who specializes in freestyle embroidery and Threadpainting. Her emphasis when teaching is to give students the skills and confidence to explore their own imaginations, and make beautiful pieces they can treasure.
