NOTE:  This cruise departs from Watergate Marina. Cruise time is 5:00-8:00 pm.

Join us for a summer cruise on board the Magnolia Blossom Riverboat with Dakota guide Fern Renville and her Ojibwe friends as we explore the relationship between these two important groups Indigenous to Minnesota.  Take in views of the scenic Mississippi River as you listen to their stories--weaving a bond between the past and present.

8:00 pm  @ Return to Marina

Meet at the Watergate Marina, 2500 Crosby Farm Road, Saint Paul Minnesota, 55116. Crosby Farm Road is at the intersection of Shepherd Road and Gannon Road.

Transportation to the Watergate Marina is on your own.

Beverages will be available to purchase on board the boat. You may bring your own food.

Ages 21+.

Fern Naomi Renville

Fern Renville is a storyteller, artist, playwright, and enrolled citizen of the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate. Fern lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she is currently investigating the role of nettle fiber in Dakota material culture as a Native Artist in Residence at the Minnesota Historical Society.
