Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Classes for Summer Youth Programs will be visible and open for registration February 23 at 5pm.

No other neighborhood in Minneapolis has impacted our city’s music and theater life, diverse demographics, higher education opportunities, and unique skyline as has the Cedar Riverside neighborhood. As we walk through the blocks centered on Cedar and Riverside Avenues, we’ll learn about the liquor patrol zone, immigrant homes, West Bank bars, the food co-op movement, Dania Hall, protests and rent strikes, mosques, markets, a settlement house and those colorful high rise buildings next to 35W. Bring your own stories to share with tour leader Maureen Trepp, lifetime Mpls. resident, historian and frequent Cedar Riverside visitor.
Meet at the outdoor entry to the Humphrey Institute on 19th Ave. So. and 3rd St. E. at 10:00 a.m.. The tour lasts 1 ½ hours and is about a mile in length. There are 2 Blue line and 1 Green line light rail stops in the neighborhood and a parking ramp on 19th Ave. along with street parking.

A Minneapolis resident from birth, Maureen has the lived, researched, and historical knowledge of some of the amazing neighborhoods in Minneapolis. A retired Mpls. Public Schools teacher and Mill City Museum History Interpreter, Maureen loves the city and sharing the stories of the individuals, the sites, and the events that have shaped our city into the diverse, naturally attractive, vibrant economic power of today. Maureen enjoys caring for her 7 grandchildren (who all live in Mpls.), playing tennis, reading, traveling, creating theater productions with children, and watching the Gopher Volleyball team.
