Articulture: Puppets and Toy Making K - 3
Bored of all your old toys? No problem, we've got the perfect solution for that! In this creative class, students will make cars that roll, frogs that leap, fish that swim, birds that fly, and more! These projects will continue to entertain long after class is over. Community Education utilizes a sliding scale model for program fees so our after school programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options and options that help us cover our administrative costs. Dungeons & Dragons Grades 2-5
Pick up your sword, prepare your spells, and join us for an adventure for honor, hijinks, and hilarity! Students create and roleplay a character or become the Dungeon Master (DM) as they travel through a mystical world, fight monsters, and find treasure together. Come one, come all, no matter if you're an experienced or new player, and be part of an unforgettable adventure! Kidcreate Studio: Drawing as Easy as 1, 2, 3 Grades K - 5
With this class, you’ll learn drawing really is as easy as 1, 2, 3! If you can write an ordinary number, you can turn it into an extraordinary drawing by following our simple step-by-step processes. From zany zebras, cute puppies to a giant cactus and everything in between, you won’t believe what you can create from an ordinary number. (Though we’ll borrow some numbers, no actual math is required for this artsy good time!) Musical Theater Grades K-5
*Limited Space Still Available* Join Dowling staff as they introduce Musical Theater to Dowling. This Unified program will enhance confidence and allow children to embrace their love for the arts. We will work on dance, voice, and theater techniques through a series of different exercises and games. This class runs through 5/9/23. Enter the world of wizards and witches in Snapology’s Harry Potter Wizarding class! Students will learn how real life connects to the magic world and allow their creativity to explode. This class will spark their imaginations and encourage creative reasoning in new ways as we explore STEAM concepts using Harry Potter as a backdrop for our activities!
