Marty Jones is a retired chaplain who has worked in Memory Care, lectured and presented to professional groups and has a passion for working with people suffering Alzheimer's Disease.
Unlearning Racism (Justice Page)Join a supportive environment to discuss the difficult topic of race, how racism lives in our bodies and how we can begin to do and be better. We will be using a framework developed by Resmaa Menakem from his book, "My grandmother's hands: racialized trauma and the pathway to mending our hearts and bodies." The presenters are white lay people who are trying to bring their own learnings and reflections to the community, as a tool for deep growth and becoming more effective community change agents.
