    Using a compass and ruler we will combine the mathematical with the aesthetic, creating beautiful artwork including golden mean spiral, flower of life, mandalas and more. We'll use watercolor crayons and colored pencils to bring our art to life. Supplies included.

    Mexican artist Frida Kahlo is remembered for her self-portraits, pain and passion, and bold, vibrant colors. She is celebrated in Mexico for her attention to Mexican and indigenous culture. Join us to learn more about her and create a lovely Frida Kahlo inspired flowerpot. No experience needed just a willingness to try something new.   • Minneapolis Southside Singers (Roosevelt 55+)

    If you are over 55 and like to sing, you are invited to join this chorus. Their repertoire includes music from the 1930s and 1940s, patriotic music, show tunes, spirituals, dance numbers and vaudeville-style skits. New members are always welcome. There is a $5 monthly participation fee, paid to Minneapolis Southside Singers. This is a year round program and you can join at any time. CALL 612.729.4984 TO REGISTER.
