    Artful Doodles (K-2)

    Dive into a world of imagination with our Artful Doodles class! Designed for kindergarten through 2nd graders, this class encourages young artists to explore their creativity through drawing. Each session is filled with fun activities that help children learn basic drawing techniques while letting their imaginations run wild. From sketching playful characters to designing whimsical scenes, students will gain confidence in their artistic abilities and develop their own unique style. Join us for a delightful journey where every doodle tells a story! Community Education uses a sliding scale fee model for all classes.     Curiosity Studios: Playful Paints (K-2)

    Join Curiosity Studios, a Longfellow artists collective, providing arts explorations for youth. What would you create if you could play with paper, paint, collage and clay? In the time we spend together, we will follow our imaginations to discover creative possibilities! So take this invitation to meet us in the art studio and embark on your creative journey! The goal of this 14 week series is for you to participate at your own skill level using your innate creativity and observations to openly explore art materials.     Dungeons & Dragons (3-5)

    Pick up your sword, prepare your spells, and join us for an adventure for honor, hijinks, and hilarity! Students create and roleplay a character or become the Dungeon Master (DM) as they travel through a mystical world, fight monsters, and find treasure together. Come one, come all, no matter if you're an experienced or new player, and be part of an unforgettable adventure! Community Education uses a sliding scale fee model for all classes.     Gym Games after Swimming

    Join us for some gym fun, meet some new friends, and play your favorite games with others! Community Education uses a sliding scale fee model for all classes.   • Musical Theater (2-5)

    Working in groups, 2nd graders through 5th graders will develop skills in communication, speaking, listening, and sharing creatively, through team games and activities. This year-long class will conclude with a student directed performance in the spring. This class is offering through Extended Learning and will meet on Tuesdays through May 15. Students enrolled in Fall/Winter session will automatically enroll in the Spring session.

    Working in groups of Kindergartners and 1st graders, students will develop skills in communication, speaking, listening, and sharing creatively, through team games and activities. This class will conclude with a student led performance.
  • Nature Niños (1-3)

    Join us for a fun and educational after-school adventure with our Nature and Spanish Immersion class! Designed for 1st through 3rd graders, this program combines outdoor exploration with immersive Spanish language learning. Children will explore the natural world, engaging in activities like nature walks, plant and animal observations, and hands-on experiments. All the while, they'll learn Spanish through songs, stories, and interactive games. This unique blend of nature and language will help kids develop a love for the environment and a new language, all while having a blast!     Robotics GEMS & GISE (2-3)

    Have fun twice a week doing hands-on Robotics and STEM projects! Students will spend the fall working towards the Robotics Tournament taking place on Saturday, January 20 and then spend the winter/ spring working towards the GEMS/GISE spring event on Saturday, May 11. This class is offering through Extended Learning and will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from through May 15. Students enrolled in Fall/Winter session will automatically enroll in Spring sessions of programming.

    Chess with Twin Cites Chess Club! Come learn the fundamentals of chess, or improve your current skills. This class is open to all levels.     Yarn Club (Grades 3-5)

    Yarn Club! Learn to crochet and knit wearable and shareable creations in this creative class. You'll experiment with various textiles including yarn, string, fabric, and natural fibers.
