The sliding scale model for program fees allows programs to be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options and options that help us cover our administrative costs. Fees cover instructor pay, class supplies, program materials, marketing and scholarships. We have always offered partial and full scholarships upon request, by offering lower cost options, we have removed the barrier. When families participate as they are able, in all levels of our sliding scale, the whole program becomes self-sustaining. Disney's Newsies JR.
