Digital Art: Video and Photography (Waite Park Gr. 3-5)

In this class, 3rd-5th graders will get comfortable taking super cool photos together using lighting tools and editing software, then explore making digital video and photo art with the computer. Students will work individually and collaboratively, using their own dreams as the story line for mixed media movies. Note: Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making scholarship requests. When families participate at the higher price levels, they help make the program more sustainable. Pricing Scale: Class Fee - covers staffing and supply costs Higher price levels 1 & 2 - supports sustainable programming & scholarships Partial Scholarship price Full Scholarship price

  • Pokémon Club (Waite Park Gr. 1-5)

Lets keep exploring the world of Pokémon. We will explore the value of some of our cards, play some games to test your knowledge and of course craft/do activities related to the theme! An assortment of Pokémon cards will be available to use during club time. Note: Pokémon cards are NOT allowed at Waite Park during day school. Students enrolled in this club can bring their own cards for this afterschool class, however they are only able to bring them on the day of Pokémon club and they must stay in their backpack/locker (during day school and snack time) until afterschool class time. School staff will not be responsible for any lost cards, so please let your students know they are responsible for keeping track of their cards, if they choose to bring them.
