    Welcome to a learning experience that will take you on an in depth learning journey that focuses on self love, self care, and understanding. Throughout this 7 week experience, scholars will complete an in depth series of learning about cosmetology that incorporates history, self reflection, awareness, confidence, project management, time management, creativity, and self care.
  • Babysitting (American Red Cross) (Entering Grades 6-8)

    Put together a creative babysitting kit and learn what kinds of games and activities are appropriate for specific ages. Practice and test on accident and emergency preparedness. You must be 11 years old by the end of class and pass a skills test to receive certificate.

    Learn about leadership, safety, basic first aid and child development from a professional. Figure out what to do in an emergency and learn new activities to do with children. You will walk away with a babysitter's pack that includes everything you need to start your babysitting business. You will also gain hands-on experience caring for younger children.
