Beacons Summer 2022
Beacons Summer Program 2022 at Franklin Middle School Join us this summer at Franklin Middle School for a full day of fun and engaging activities for youth entering 1st-9th grade. Programming is Monday-Thursday 9:15 am-3:00 pm. Program is FREE and includes breakfast and lunch. Transportation offered for MPS students. Activities include biking, swimming lessons, music production, art, gardening, STEM, soccer, basketball and more. Boxing Camp (Henry 1st-8th Grade)
Boxing fundamentals will include basic fitness and boxing skills. Coach Morgan McDonald from Lucy Laney Boxing Academy will lead students through a variety of team and individual exercises. No experience required. -
Brick City: Planes, Trains and Automobiles Camp with Snapology: (Children Entering Grades 1-3)
Explore the world of transportation, structures, and what makes a city go! Students will build models of their favorite forms of transportation, as well as what makes a strong structure like a building or bridge and other parts of a city. By the end of the week we’ll have a huge city full of buildings, vehicles, parks and other awesome structures!. Age Range: 5-8 Transportation is not provided to and from the program each day. Cityview & Green Freedom Schools
Minneapolis Public Schools CDF Freedom Schools is a free, summer program that runs from June 21-July 28 for students currently in grades K-9.
