Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills - Ages 5+ (Southwest Pool)
Learn basic swim skills such as floating on front and back, submerging underwater while blowing bubbles and front crawl.
Bike: Basic Maintenance (Roosevelt)
Learn bike anatomy, wheel removal, tire and tube replacement, bike cleaning, chain lubrication technique with a professionally-trained Hub Bike Co-op mechanic. Class meets at the Hub Bike Cooperative, 3016 Minnehaha Ave. Register online or call 612.668.4828. No discounts. Bring your own bike to work on and wear clothes you will not mind getting dirty. Participants will get 10% off shop supplies/tools day after class. Course intended for students with little or no bicycle maintenance experience.
