Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).

Here's your chance to spend some uninterrupted time together participating in toddler-friendly activities that support growth and development.
Give the gift of learning. Gift vouchers can be purchased in a variety of denominations and can be used for most Community Education Youth & Adult Enrichment classes. Some restrictions apply.
Learn about leadership, safety, basic first aid and child development. Figure out what to do in an emergency and learn new activities to do with children. You will walk away with a babysitter's pack that includes everything you need to start your babysitting business. You will also gain hands-on experience caring for younger children. This class does not include CPR.
In order to ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education is now offering program fees on a sliding scale so our youth programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options and options that help us cover our administrative costs. Fees cover instructor pay, class supplies, program materials, marketing, and scholarships. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. When families participate as they are able, in all levels of our sliding scale, the whole program becomes self-sustaining. Thank you for your consideration as you sign up for summer programs!
