Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).

I learned the game as a kid on the western Minnesota prairie and I still play for Mounds View in the Minnesota 50+ Baseball League. I hold a doctorate in philosophy from The University of Kansas, and I have 20 years full-time teaching experience at the university level including 15 years at MacMurray College in Illinois and 3 years at Bemidji State University. I am an active member of The Society for American Baseball Research, taught college classes on baseball, given many public lectures on baseball, and several to international academic societies on the philosophy of sport.
