Alma Woodsey Thomas was an African-American artist and teacher who is recognized as a major American painter of the 20th century. Thomas, who is often considered a member of the Washington Color Schoolart movement but alternatively classified by some as an expressionist. Learn basic tissue dye techniques in the style of Thomas and let your favorite colors be your guide in creating a one-of-a-kind wearable art piece.

No experience needed just a willingness to try something new.
