Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age care for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 6th grade during the school year (entering K-7 during the summer).

Students seeking more opportunities to play band instruments in an ensemble can do so while getting an introduction to the exciting world of jazz! Students must have one or more years playing experience on the instrument. It is highly recommended that students are currently enrolled in school band or weekly private lessons. Students will learn about the history of the music, the development of jazz rhythm and chord structures, and will learn and practice improvisation!
