    Join Afterschool Music Ensemble with Mr. Kaiser! Students who sign up for this class can get help with: Practicing their instrument (minutes do count towards your practice calendar). Learning a second instrument Work in a duet, trio, or small group! Having practice space for a rock band or other ensemble to meet. and any other musical ideas you have! Class will meet twice a week to make it easier for as many students as possible to attend. Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school! This class is only open to Justice Page students. This is a new session all students must register.

    Join Anime club! Meet and spend time with fellow anime lovers. We'll be taking a look at some of the most popular anime series and films. We watch a variety of series and shows that the youth suggest and vote on. Ratings for anmie vary but kids tend to suggest series that are PG, PG-13, and TV 14. In order to ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education offers fees on a sliding scale. Families are asked to pick the class fee or a price that they are able to pay.     Be inspired, get creative, and make cool art! You'll exchange creative ideas, create works of art, and meet new friends with similar interests. This class will be a hands-on, creative thinking, individual expression, and experimentation workshop atmosphere. This is a great place to explore your artistic interests.     Innovators explore, design, and build using materials. Each week, students dive into hands-on challenges that encourage problem-solving and imaginative thinking. From experimenting with simple machines to creating unique prototypes. This class is taught by Mr. K and is an ALC class open to Justice Page Students.
  • Chess Club (Justice Page)

    Join fellow chess enthusiasts to level up your play. Work with Dave (field chess teacher) to learn to play or learn and practice new strategies for Chess. Gain confidence in your chess game and represent Justice Page at City-wide chess tournaments. Students and families register for tournaments individually.     Join Ian to cook up all kinds of delicious dishes, from snacks to dessert and everything in between. Gain skills in the kitchen and enjoy the variety of food you make.   • Dungeons and Dragons with Wyldwolf All Levels (Justice Page)

    Dungeons and Dragons with Wyldwolf Adventure Studios. Dungeon masters will run two all level campaigns. Students will do everything from character creation, learning rules, and then taking your character into an adventure. Use creative ideas and collaborative story telling to go on an adventure with your friends.
  • GEMS and GISE - Stem Academy ALC (Justice Page)

    The GEMS-GISE-STEM Academies are after-school STEM programs designed specifically for Minneapolis Public School District students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The programs focus on explorations of science and mathematics through project-based and problem-based learning experiences promoting the integration of engineering and technology concepts, content, and process. Students that participate in GEMS-GISE enroll in a year-long after-school program that is comprised of two semester courses with an opportunity to continue learning in the six week summer K-8 STEM Academy. This class is offered as a Tuesday and Thursday class. We would love for students to attend both days but understand that is not always possible. Please join us, even if for one day each week. Spring 2026: Build, Power, Create! (Energy-Electricity-Electronics) Power up your mind! In our Energy, Electricity, and Electronics course, students will be an investigator, diving into the core concepts that light up our world. Students explore the fundamentals of energy, including how it's measured, converted, and transferred. We will also look to the future, examining the importance of conservation and the potential of alternative energy sources through a hands-on, problem-based approach. Students will conduct investigations into key concepts like currents, open and closed circuits, series and parallel circuits, and static electricity. Students also explore the properties of conductors and insulators, and the principles of magnetism as they work on exciting, project-based experiments. Get ready to level up! Engage in exciting electronics projects, middle school students learn to build, test, and troubleshoot circuits using circuit boards and other electronic components. The adventure continues with a special opportunity to explore the fascinating world of digital electronics. Students will create their own projects using microcontrollers and sensors, bringing their ideas to life! This class is only open to Justice Page Students.

    Girls Soccer Skills and Drills (Justice Page)

    Come play soccer With Coach & Dean Emily Silva. We will warm up, strech, do a variety of skills, drills, scrimmage. This is a welcoming space for girls interested in learning or playing soccer.     Join our afterschool Cheffing Rhinos, where 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students learn to cook simple, safe recipes from around the world. Students practice kitchen safety, measure ingredients, follow step-by-step instructions, and explore the history and culture behind each dish. This hands-on club builds teamwork, confidence, and FOOD.

    Students choose their house, team up with friends, and compete in fun challenges to earn points for the House Cup. Each session includes wizard-themed games, creative projects, and hands-on “Potions”. Theirs room for students ideas and leadship as we start this new club. If you love Harry Potter, fun, imagination, teamwork, creativity, friendly competition, and all things magical, this club is for you. Grab your wand and get ready for spellbinding fun!     Do you want an opportunity to make Justice Page and the world a better place? Do you love thrifting, vintage clothes or want to help with our 2nd hand fashion show? Are you interested in hearing from people in our community that make positive environmental and social changes? Do you like potatoes and hot sauce? Because we cook up potatoes each week, sometimes other snacks too! If you said yes to any of these questions, consider joining the Justice Page Green Team! The Green Team at Justice Page is a group of students who are working together to make our world a better place. We will work hard to put on big events at school. The Green Team is a fun way to learn more about environmental issues, and sustainability, and work with other students who share a passion for making our school and community a great place to live. Students will have a voice and choice in what we focus on. This class will be FUN and make an IMPACT! Potatoes and snacks are a nice little bonus to this class, hard to save the planet on an empty stomach! Join us! This class is only open to Justice Page students.

    Rhino Pride is to create a safe space for any student looking to work together to create peace, talk about GLBTQ issues, educate ourselves and others, explore current events connected to GLBTQ issues, socialize with other GLBTQ and Ally studentss, and leave feeling good about ourselves. This is a new session all students must register.

    Have fun playing different strategy games. Compete in games like, Wingspan, Catan, Deluxe Clue, Chess, and more. Join the growing group of Magic the Gathering players, for standard 60 card play. Choose something different each week, including cards, board games and video games.   • Subway Spoken Word: A Performance Workshop with Compass teaching Artist Dralandra Larkins(Justice Page)

    Is there a poem in your journal that’s waiting to be performed on stage, but you aren’t sure how to do it? In this workshop, participants will learn which key ingredients make for a delicious spoken word performance. Packing one ingredient at a time, we will learn foundational spoken-word devices, how to master the art of word choice using a metaphor map, and how to use the body as a communicative tool to captivate an audience. Your personal experiences and emotions will serve as the foundation for crafting poems that are authentic and powerful. Allow yourself to be seen, to be heard and to be healed as you venture into verse.     YWCA - Girls Inc! YWCA Minneapolis is a member organization of Girls Incorporated. Through Girls Inc., girls take risks, discover and grow their inherent strengths, learn to value themselves and create long-lasting mentorship relationships in a pro-girl environment. Through this affiliation with Girls Inc., YWCA offers research-based curriculum delivered by trained professionals to equip girls to achieve academically, lead healthy and physically active lives, manage money, navigate media messages and discover an interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). This programming helps girls traverse complex gender, economic and social barriers to find success. Participants gain opportunities to learn new skills, make positive connections to peers and adults, contribute to society and believe in their ability to create the best possible future for themselves. This group is for students who identify as girls and/or non-binary. YWCA will require additional registration forms to be completed before program start.
