Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Teen Parent Services is dedicated to keeping teen parents on the track to graduation by providing them with parenting education and supports while providing high-quality early childhood education services to their children.

Here's your chance to spend some uninterrupted time together participating in toddler-friendly activities that support growth and development.
Musical theater comes to life through a series of engaging scenes. This is a highly supportive environment for youngsters to develop their courage to act, sing and dance. The level of challenge fits the needs of the group so that this introduction to musical theater is a positive experience for all. An excellent choice to build self-confidence, discover talent, and learn if your child would enjoy musical theater. Each class will include acting, improvisational games, creative movement, singing and scanned rehearsals with costumes and props. The last class will have a presentation of their mini-show with scenes and songs on the last day of their class in the studio. This does not have a stage performance. Perfect for those wanting to get a sampling of musical theater but might be intimidated by being on stage in front of a large audience.
Note: Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making scholarship requests. When families participate at the higher price levels, they help make the program more sustainable. Extended Learning (ALC) classes are free.
