After School Youth Enrichment Fall 2025
Students will explore their interests and grow their comfort in the outdoors while going on field trips to local nature spaces in Minneapolis. They'll develop skills like hiking, birding with binoculars, fishing, animal and plant I.D., ice skating, etc. They'll visit Minneapolis lakes, the Mississippi River, community gardens and more! Camp Fire naturalists and Community Education staff will chaperone students, and Campfire staff will occasionally transport students in a 15-passenger van. Students must attend on both Monday and Wednesday.

Note: Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making scholarship requests. When families participate at the higher price levels, they help make the program more sustainable. Extended Learning (ALC) classes are free.
