Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Teen Parent Services is dedicated to keeping teen parents on the track to graduation by providing them with parenting education and supports while providing high-quality early childhood education services to their children.

Here's your chance to spend some uninterrupted time together participating in toddler-friendly activities that support growth and development.
Kinder - 5th Grade: Black Affinity Group (Thursdays 2:10pm - 3:30pm or 5:10pm):
This course is designed for African-descended and Afro-Latinx students in a multicultural environment, as part of the Black Affinity Group (BAG). Students will engage in dynamic activities such as music, dance, poster creation, games, and discussions that foster understanding of equity, rights, and the power of community leadership.
The course will culminate with a school assembly in honor of Black History Month, where students will present what they have learned through songs, poems, and creative projects that celebrate the accomplishments and struggles of Black leaders.
*Students can be picked up at 3:40pm or stay for afterschool activities until 5:00pm with the same teacher - no need to add another class.
Kinder - 5to Grado: Grupo de Afinidad AfroAmericano: (Jueves 2:10pm - 3:30pm o 5:10pm):
Este curso está diseñado para estudiantes afrodescendientes y afrolatinos en un entorno multicultural, como parte del Grupo de Afinidad Negra (BAG). Los estudiantes participarán en actividades dinámicas como música, baile, creación de carteles, juegos y debates que fomentan la comprensión de la equidad, los derechos y el poder del liderazgo comunitario.
El curso culminará con una asamblea escolar en honor al Mes de la Historia Negra, donde los estudiantes presentarán lo aprendido a través de canciones, poemas y proyectos creativos que celebran los logros y las luchas de los líderes negro.
*Los estudiantes pueden ser recogidos a las 3:40 pm o quedarse para actividades extraescolares hasta las 5:00 pm con la misma maestra - no hay necesidad de agregar otra clase.
