Girls Who Code (Grades 3-5)

After School Youth Classes / Northrop -
After School Youth Enrichment Fall 2024

PLEASE NOTE: Extended Learning classes need to be taught by a licensed teacher and offered free to our students. In order to pay our teachers, this class is funded through the state of MN. The state requires evidence that we offered the class after school. In order to comply, we ask that each student and parent or guardian will sign and date a CLP. You will be asked which method (electronic or paper form) you would like to submit while completing registration. This form is ONLY in regards to after school for the 2024- 25 year. If you have any questions please contact Krystal:  Krystalyn.Everson@mpls.k12.mn.us

Girls! Come Join Ms. Mills after school and learn to Code. Girls Who Code is on a mission to close the gender gap in technology and to change the image of what a programmer looks like and does. Learn concepts of loops, variables, conditionals and functions that form the basics of all programming languages. Work in teams to complete projects that solve real-world problems in your community. Students learn to see themselves as computer scientists.
