  • Benson's Music Club (LHU) (5 Gr.)

Mr. Benson will provide students a space to learn more about their instruments and hone their skills afterschool. It will be their chance to get some practice time in outside the classroom alongside their friends. Current 5th Grade Band Members Recommended. To ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education is now offering fees on a sliding scale. We're moving to a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay or select the no-cost option. We have always offered partial and full scholarships upon request. If you choose to pay above the class cost, you are helping provide opportunities for children in your community that would otherwise be unable to afford them. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making these requests. When families participate as they are able, in all levels of our sliding scale, the whole program becomes self-sustaining.
