Whether you consider yourself a beginner or intermediate player, join this club to meet and interact with other chess players in your school and play on a weekly basis. If they are new to the game, players will learn the basic rules and strategies of chess. We will also introduce other popular 2 player and multi-player strategy games beyond chess! Taught be Chess & Strategy Games Association.

In order to ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education offers fees on a sliding scale. When paying online, the “Class Fee” represents the amount to cover all costs associated with the class such as: snack, admin support, partnership fees, etc. The rates above “Class fee” allow us to scholarship students at lower rates. Please select the price that works best for your family.
