Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based, school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Teen Parent Services is dedicated to keeping teen parents on the track to graduation by providing them with parenting education and supports while providing high-quality early childhood education services to their children.

Get ready to build, create, and enjoy movies! In this class, young creators will explore their favorite kids’ movies to bring stories to life. Each week, we’ll watch short, age-appropriate film clips for inspiration, then design and build our own mini movie sets, characters, and scenes. Students will practice teamwork, storytelling, and creative play - all while discovering how imagination can turn simple legos into fun stories! Our final class will feature a mini “movie showcase” where kids can share their lego masterpieces with friends and family.
Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making scholarship requests. When families participate at the higher price levels, they help make the program more sustainable.
