Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age care for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 6th grade during the school year (entering K-7 during the summer).

Give the gift of learning. Gift vouchers can be purchased in a variety of denominations and can be used for most Community Education Youth & Adult Enrichment classes. Some restrictions apply.
Basketball workout with Coach Brendan. This class is for athletes who want to take their game to the next level. Develop your footwork, dribbling, shooting, and defense with individual and group basketball drills to push your game to the next level.
This class meets for 6 weeks. Monday and Wednesday. No class on Wednesday April 10 (no school).
In order to ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education is now offering fees on a sliding scale. We're moving to a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options and options that help us cover our administrative costs. Fees cover instructor pay, class supplies, program materials, marketing and scholarships. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay or select the no-cost option. We have always offered partial and full scholarships upon request. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making these requests. When families participate as they are able, in all levels of our sliding scale, the whole program becomes self-sustaining.
