    Come enjoy the pool in after school. Students will practice basic techniques and play water games. All skill levels welcome! Students must bring their own swimsuit and towel. (We do not have access to the suits that students can use in gym class. Students will swim from 4:10-5:00PM, then change and play table games.     Working together with LEGO building elements, motors, and sensors, students will build various robot prototypes. Students will program these robots to move, react, and make sounds, applying their skills to solve design challenges. This class runs Session 1 (October 21 - December 16) and Session 2 (January 12 - March 4). Students will be enrolled for all dates. At the end of Session 2, the class will culminate in a presentation of student robots and projects. This is an Extended learning class. Extended Learning classes (ALC) are offered by licensed teachers, incorporate academic state standards, and are free to all participants.
