Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).

Studio lighting often separates professional photos from amateur ones. Get a taste of why, when and how photographers use this technique. Please bring your digital SLR camera and manual to class. Classes are designed for students who have cameras with interchangeable lenses.

Gil Dignen has over fifty years of experience in the photography field. He has worked as both a studio and commercial photographer, including eighteen years as a travel photographer while working at Northwest Airlines. Gil has taught photography classes at various colleges in the Metro area and has a studio in Northeast Minneapolis where he does portraiture and commercial photography. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with others through Community Education.
