Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age care for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 6th grade during the school year (entering K-7 during the summer).
Classes for Summer Youth Programs will be visible and open for registration February 25 at 5pm.

Tuesdays: Math & Reading PBL (Block A) and Y Mentors (Block B)
Thursdays: Math & Reading PBL (Block A) and Sports Adventures (Block B)
Students will be enrolled in 3 classes. On Tuesdays and Thursdays during Block A; students will work on math and literacy skills in this project based learning class. On Tuesdays during Adventures with Y Mentors, A team of College Y Mentors will be coming weekly with a new adventure. Each week we will have an opportunity to use our imaginations creating all kinds of fun activities, which could include creating and playing games, travel, nature, music science, art, and even learning how to grow your brain! On Thursdays during Block B, students will learn the fundamentals of various sports such as soccer and other gym games.

Jueves: Matemáticas y Lectura (Bloque A) y Aventura en Deportes (Bloque B)
Los estudiantes se inscribirán en tres clases. Los martes y jueves durante el Bloque A; los estudiantes trabajarán en habilidades de matemáticas y alfabetización en esta clase de aprendizaje basada en proyectos. Los martes durante “Y Mentors” vendrán semanalmente mentores de la universidad. Cada semana tendremos la oportunidad de usar nuestra imaginación creando todo tipo de actividades divertidas, cuales podrían incluir crear y jugar juegos, viajar, la naturaleza, música, ciencias, arte e incluso aprender a como desarrollar su cerebro. Los jueves durante bloque B; los estudiantes aprenderán los fundamentos de varios deportes como el fútbol y otros juegos de gimnasio.
