Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).
Classes for Summer Youth Programs will be visible and open for registration February 23 at 5pm.

Students will explore music through movement, rhythm, and imagination as musical experiences provide an outlet for them to use their creativity and make connections to their daily lives. We will learn about and play a variety of instruments, recognize and create patterns, and experience contrasts in musical textures. These musical skills help reinforce social emotional learning, problem solving, and self-expression. Community Education is moving to a sliding scale model for program fees so our after-school programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options and options that help us cover our administrative costs. Families are asked to pick the price that they can pay.
