Minneapolis Kids provides year-round, fee-based school-age childcare for families with youth enrolled in High Five/Minneapolis Kids Jr through 5th grade during the school year (entering grades K-7 during the summer).

Origami is a popular folding practice traditional to Japanese and Chinese cultures. Enjoy the fun and relaxation of paper folding through sculpting 3D paper art while improving coordination of brain and hands. No scissors or glue will be used in this class.

Joseph Lin is originally from Taiwan and has lived in Minnesota for over 30 years. Joseph has been teaching Mandarin Chinese in various school and community settings for many years. He knows Chinese history well, has a deep connection with Chinese culture, and has compassion for Chinese language, calligraphy, and paper folding art. He enjoys sharing his expertise in language and culture with anyone interested in exploring Chinese culture and history.
