Mindfulness: Core Practices on the Path to Understanding (Ella Baker)

Adult Enrichment Spring 2025

In this 6 week course, we will meet one hour a week to explore different mindfulness practices. We will learn about the neuroscience behind these practices which has shown to improve our mental habits of attention at the conscious and unconscious levels. While this class will focus on secular practices, we will learn about the history of their Buddhist origins. Bring a blanket or pillow, dress comfortably and warmly. Bring an open mind and heart.
