Turkish Cuisine: Soups & Desserts (Southwest)

No Turkish meal is considered complete without a starter soup course and a dessert to top the meal off. You will make two vegetarian soups that can be modified to include meat-based proteins. To end the class, you will prepare one dairy-based and one baked dessert. Note for vegans: While the Turkish cuisine has many vegetarian options, it also relies heavily on butter, yogurt and eggs.
